I have heard from an admin that this game will be trying to get a license right? Well sometimes that doesn't end too well projects like this and I don't want to let all that work go down the drain.I have thought of a few ways you can continue with game (possibly make money) and not have to worry about copyright issues.
Fiirst of all the easiest way is to just change what the npcs look like (naruto with red hair. Etc) and change all naruto related names.
If you don't want to do that you could also just say it's a Naruto based mmo(instead of a Naruto mmo) and not include the npcs from naruto(that's how most byond Naruto games avoid copyright).
The last option would be that you make an original game,with your own ideas. It could be. A ninja mmo too.

In my opinion I think the first way is the best ,since I don't wan't to play just a ninja mmo(If I did ,I'd go find one) but a Naruto based mmo.I really hope you consider some of this

Well i was thinking the same dude, i in abunai as already said that, people cant make a Naruto Game because they dont have Rights for do that. Make a Ninja Style MMO like you said changing some stuff is the way you can make some money and people will get in in perfection, Like this exist a Ninja Saga, one facebook game, is totaly the same of naruto but jutsus names are changed and the chars look too but all other stuff is the same... Make some litle changes like Leaf Village be Tree Village or Rock Village be Moutain Village...

I vote for license,cuz' even if they don't get one they can just make a naruto based mmo xD

Naruto Based MMO, 3rd choice. All we need to do is tweak a couple of names and appearances and were good to go.

Actually the chances of getting a license are quite slim. But as long as there's a chance you can't try .

To get the licence they will need sell the game, and will gain more professional team to work on it... Its good this way for a point of view , for other this game will be development closed for people like us... If you wanna a epic game like DBO go on, if you want a game with stuff you want a fan game make a original ninja based mmo.

But you cannot compare these two games. DBo created game corporation NTL. and this game is just a free time hobby MMO.

If you try to get licence this game ill turn the same or you think they dont will try to buy the project O.o

I agree with Popolvar. The best way is to just tweak a couple of names and character appearances. EX: Make Naruto's hair more orange than yellow. Or change the "fire ball jutsu" to "flaming sphere jutsu". Bad examples, but you get my point.

Cant we try to get licence and if we fail we make it like nsahawks said or if we fail to get the license it will have some issues on the project??
Ninja saga doesnt have a license i think , so it changed names and appearance (kara of the snow, yundai and has red hair , the dark eye[sharingan])
Anyway you get my point but if some1 knows tell me if we cant try to get the license cause if we fail something bad happens xD
