Gaara is not elderly in the slightest. Neither is Mei. Age really doesn't mean much in the world of Naruto, as Naruto who is about 15 himself is on his way to becoming tge strongest in te series. So I say rank and age should have nothing to do with eachother.

It should definitively be timed based, because I don't feel like looking younger than a guy who's only been here for a couple of months but logs all his free time into this game.

I'd also like something to mark that we were here first, and this could be it as it shows our elder status 'n w/e.

Well both of whom you spoke of are Jinchuriki's and are extremely powerful because of that. Naruto is the main character in the series, so of course his writers are going to god-mod him to the cows come home. I completely understand what you're saying though. But taking into consideration of a typical ninja, lets say the members of the rookie 9, I believe they would scale fluently with the aging system, even if it is slight I suppose.

Ok, imagine you create a character, you play with him and the reroll another one. You leave that character and what happens with him?

Will you be able to have multiple accounts??
Cause i think it sucks having 2 or 3 ppl in the house that want to play and cant

You could do it both ways. You can have your character age in-game, but within a specific age limit. Let's say for a genin, he/she can start off at age 8 or something, but within a set amount of game time, they begin to gradually age at a capstone of 12 years until they rank up.

That would work, Demetri, but Naruto is like 16 and is still a genin

I didn't know there would be so much discussion on aging xD I thought I was the lone soul on this. Also I think it is best to allow the character to age when he wants. There has to be a minimum streangth/skill required to age but you can choose to not age and stay as a kid so you can be a jounin and look like a twerp or a chuunin who should be in the grave.

Why dont we do this. At the initial character screen, everyone starts out as a child, and you will stay a child until a certain level(maybe 20 for chunin). From there, a new customization bar will come up where you can (COMPLETELY OPTIONAL) where you can change from a kid to a teenager. Then maybe when you hit Jonin(level 40?) you can choose to go back to a kid for whatever reason, stay as a teen, or continue to a full grown man/woman. When you hit kage(level 80?) the same screen will pop up and you can pick any of the 4 age groups.

I think this is the most fair decision to make.

When your a kid, you look like a regular child. Maybe around 7 yr old.
When you choose teenager, you just grow taller, and get buffer for guys, and curvier with more tits for girls.
When your a man/woman, well, thats self explanatory. For boys you can choose facial hair.
When your old, you sorta have a hunch with wrinkles and can choose facial hair.

Yes but isnt it Unrealistic to go back as a kid ? u said u can go bacck as a kid when ur joinin , so if u were a teen at chuunin , and then u go back to a kid at jounin.. i think it would look silly

Well you can, but its your character, and if it doesnt affect combat, then it doesnt matter. I mean, Gaara is like 17 and he's a kage.

yeh but he doesnt grow older then grow younger again, thats my point.

Yeah I understand, i mean for the early stages for the game I think the raw idea is good. We can add patches later on.
